Day 30: Boise to Portland

Day 30 started in Boise as we headed for Portland where our daughter Debi lives.

Many amazing views on the drive. Rivers, bridges, windmills, snowcapped mountains, blue sky, John Deere equipment

I checked on the IPad to find a place to watch the second half of the World Cup semifinal game between Uruguay and Netherlands. This is what I found.

This is in Hermiston, Oregon. Soccer and a delicious cheeseburger.

Just before you get to Portland, there are these magnificant waterfalls -- Multnomah Falls

There is a mile long path that will take you to the top of the falls, and a quarter mile path that will take you to a bridge in front of the falls. This next picture is from the bridge.
After we got to Portland, we went to a great restaurant that our daughter Debi recommended.

Tomorrow, Debi is going to show us around Portland and maybe a visit to Mount Hood.
