We started the day at Niagara Falls.
The best view is from Canada, but we did not have passports.
Below with Jeannie is Kurt who is a New York State Park Ranger. He gave us a lot of useful information, but there was something else he really knew about.
Knowing what he would say, I asked Kurt if Brett Hull scored that goal (google "No Goal" if you do not know about this). Of course, Kurt, being from the Buffalo area said it definitely was NOT A GOAL. He started to go into great detail, but after about 30 seconds, I stopped him because I think Kurt could have gone on for 30 more minutes. Lots of bitterness forever in Buffalo about the Hull (No Goal) that won the Stanley Cup for the Dallas Stars.
After Niagara Falls, we drove to Cleveland to watch the Colorado Rockies play the Cleveland Indians.
It was a good game that we started with some hot dogs and peanuts.
Views from our seats
It was a good game. The Rockies' pitcher had a no hitter going through 5 innings as Colorado built a 3-0 lead. However, Cleveland got a run in the 6th, and 2 in the 8th to tie, only to give up a home run in the 9th.
Colorado 4 -- Cleveland 3
Another highlight was the hot dog ingredient race (onion, mustard, and ketchup).
Here, onion trips ketchup.
Me and my Onion.
After the game we walked a couple of blocks to the "Winking Lizard" for dessert
On Wednesday we drive to Chicago where the Cubs are playing at the White Sox.
