Day 9: A Very Wonderful Day in New York

Day 9: The Big Apple

We left Philadelphia this morning to drive to New York City.  After checking into our hotel, Jeannie and I had the pleasure of spending much of the afternoon with one of my wonderful students, Elizabeth Kim.  We had a great time catching up and reminiscing about high school days at Newman Smith High School (Class of '92).  We are having dinner with Elizabeth and her son tomorrow night, so lots of pictures to come.

For dinner tonight, we went to join my good friend Bill Utter (See day 1) and his family at the Porterhouse Restaurant at the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle.  Bill always looks like a million dollars.

He and his super family just happened to be in New York at the same time.  They are going to the Ranger Yankee game on Wednesday and the Lion King on Thursday.

This is Bill, Trey, Bill's better half-- Monica, and Bailee (who in person, looks like a young Grace Kelly)

After dinner Jeannie and I strolled down the Great White Way -- Broadway.

On Wednesday we see David Letterman, and we are looking forward to a terrific dinner with Elizabeth and her son.
