Day 6: Rangers at Giants -- a glorious summer day -- especially for SF

It is cap day at AT&T Park. We are already in our super seats an hour before the game. Giants are taking batting practice behind us.

This is Rick, our hero. We got our tickets from him outside the ball park. Rick said that he could not go to the game but wanted some nice people to have a great experience. That Jeannie exudes nice.

Cotton Candy

SpIrited and colorful fans (Diane and Doris) who love their Giants.

Lorraine joins them -- cougars on the prowl for Giants' shortstop Brandon Crawford

Giants just have 1 hit going into the 7th inning stretch. God Bless America

Followed by Take Me Out To The Ballgame

Rangers 5, Giants 0 in the 8th

The bottom of the 8th ended with baseball's "Pitcher's Best Friend." Giants fans who have been baking all day in the sun are fully cooked and heading to the exits with one inning to go.

Rangers win 5 - 0 and celebrate.

Here come the birds.

Sculpture of the great Willie Mays' famous catch in the 1954 World Series between the New York Giants and the Cleveland Indians.

Nap time until our final night's dinner in San Francisco

Dinner at Fisherman's Wharf at Pier Market restaurant.

Very good.

On Monday we fly to Miami.
