Day 28: Miami Marlins at Milwaukee Brewers

Jeannie on Milwaukee's Brady Street.

Getting some art ideas for her elementary students

Pregame meal at Sobelman's, a famous Milwaukee hamburger restaurant.

Miller Park, home of the Milwaukee Brewers

Thousands of Milwaukee fans tailgate in the parking lot, way more than any ball park we have visited.

We got inside the park early.

National Anthem

First Pitch

Marlins get the bases loaded in the first, and go on to score 2 runs.

Brewers get the bases loaded in the bottom of the first and score 1.

We are with Haven and Steve who sold us our seats on Craigslist, shared their food, and told us about Milwaukee. Haven's mom gave her tickets to the game for her 29th birthday present, and mom is babysitting her 8-week old baby.

7th Inning Stretch! And the game is tied 5 to 5.

Brewers go ahead 6 to 5 in the 8th inning. This is the last Marlin batter in the 9th. Fans go home happy.

And celebrate.

Back out in the parking lot, we meet Amy and Jeremiah (not a couple, just friends). Amy went to school with Tony Romo whom she does not remember fondly.

Jeremiah, disguised as a Brewer fan, but actually is a big Chicago White Sox fan.

The Texas Rangers are coming into Chicago on Tuesday to thrash the White Sox.

Jeannie and I will be at the game.
