Day 48: Texas Rangers and Yu Darvish vs. the Los Angeles Angels

First Pitch.

 

 

Josh Hamilton Hits a single in the first inning sending Elvis Andrus to 2nd.

Rangers score 1 in the first.

 

 

 

In the 2nd inning, the Rangers score 5 times with 3 home runs.

The first is by Na-Po-Li! Normally the Ranger catcher, but today, the designated hitter.

The second home run is by today's catcher Yorvit Torrealba who is seen below approaching third and then crossing the plate.

 

The third home run in the second inning is by Adrian Beltre.

Rangers lead 6 to 0 after two innings.

In the third inning Mike Napoli homers again to make it 7 to 0, and the Angel manager makes a pitching change.

 

We sat next to two gentlemen, twin brothers John and Wade, who, like Jeannie, graduated from Texas Tech University. Get your guns up.

Wade, on the right above, gave us tons of tips about Seattle.

The Rangers win 7 to 2 and congratulate each other after the last Angel out.

The Rangers and Angels play a third game on Sunday, but we are going to Maui.
